Frequently Asked Questions

Everything prospective and current clients ask us about cloud and advertising work — answered straight.

Cloud services

What cloud platforms do you support?

All three of the major hyperscalers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Our architects hold current certifications on each, so we recommend the platform that fits your workload and existing licences — not the one that pays us the biggest referral. We also work with hybrid and multi-cloud setups, and with container platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS and Cloud Run.

How long does a typical cloud migration take?

Most projects run 4 to 12 weeks depending on complexity. A single application lift-and-shift with basic landing zone setup usually takes 4–6 weeks; a multi-application migration with database re-platforming, networking and security hardening typically takes 8–12 weeks. After the free assessment we give you a written timeline with named milestones, so you know exactly what lands in which week.

Do you offer ongoing support after migration?

Yes. Every migration can be followed by a managed cloud services plan — monitoring, patching, backup verification, cost optimisation and on-call incident response. Plans are monthly, with no long-term lock-in, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Many clients start with three months of managed support and then move their day-to-day operations in-house using the runbooks we hand over.

What industries do you serve?

We work with all industries, and we specialise in B2B software and services and e-commerce — the two sectors where cloud cost control and paid advertising have the clearest, fastest return. We have also delivered projects for professional services, healthcare technology, logistics and manufacturing, including regulated environments that require HIPAA-aligned or SOC 2 controls.

Google Ads & engagement

What's included in Google Ads management?

The full lifecycle: account and campaign setup (search, performance max, display and remarketing as needed), conversion tracking and server-side tag verification, keyword and audience research, ad copy and asset creation, landing page recommendations, ongoing optimisation of bids, budgets and negative keywords, and monthly reporting on spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS. Your ad account stays in your name — we request manager access, never ownership.

How do you charge for services?

Two models, chosen at the proposal stage. Cloud migrations and one-off builds are project-based with a fixed fee and a written scope. Ongoing managed services and Google Ads management are a monthly retainer, either a flat fee or a flat fee plus a percentage of ad spend above an agreed threshold. All prices are quoted and invoiced in US Dollars, and payment is arranged by bank transfer.

Do you provide training for our team?

Yes — knowledge transfer is included in every engagement, not sold as an add-on. At handover you receive written runbooks and architecture documentation, a recorded walkthrough of the environment or ad account, and live working sessions with your engineers or marketers. If you want a deeper programme, we can scope dedicated workshops on AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform or Google Ads optimisation.

What makes Chili Technology different?

Three things. We are Google certified across Ads and Cloud, so the people touching your account hold current credentials. We take a cloud-native approach — infrastructure as code, automated testing and observability from day one, rather than re-hosting a messy data centre. And we are transparent: you own the ad account, you see every line of the cloud bill, and you get a monthly report written in plain language.

Support & guarantees

What happens if we're not seeing results?

Tell us and we act. Within the first 30 days the 30-day service guarantee applies — we either fix the work at no additional cost or refund the engagement fee. After that, service levels and remedies are written into the Service Level Guarantee, including response times, uptime commitments and minimum ROAS targets for managed campaigns.

Who do we talk to day-to-day?

A named client success manager who knows your environment, plus direct access to the engineers and media buyers doing the work. Support hours, escalation path and reporting cadence are set out in the proposal before you sign — and nothing is outsourced to an anonymous ticket queue.
